Tom Sprinkle joined PSI in early 2012 as VP of Sales. Tom has over 20 years in the telecommunications industry beginning in 1993 with AT&T. Over the last 10 years he has developed indirect sales channels for AT&T and two other CLECs. After supporting PSI as a Channel Manager for 7 years a strong friendship emerged with PSI owner and staff. Though it took several years to convince him, Tom finally made the jump from the corporation side of telecommunication sales to the Master Agency side of the business. Over the last decade his strength has been in wide area networking, in the last 5 years Tom has developed a speciality in SIP and Hosted telephony.
Born in Maine Tom moved to the island of Sicily at 6 months old, once his family returned to the US he was raised moving up and down the east coast as his father was a Naval Aviator and Intelligence officer. Most of his family is still in NC and FL, but he came to Southern California in 1999 to marry his wife Judy, they have 4 girls and 2 granddaughters. His favorite things to do are work in his yard, play volleyball on the beach with his youngest daughter, walk Molly his golden retriever and date-nights with his wife. Tom and his wife are very involved and dedicated to growing and strengthening marriages through a ministry called The Marriage Resource.
Matt Boyer has been with PSI since June of 2007 after working as a financial analyst for Washington Mutual Bank and Professional Community Management. Matt proudly grew up in the small town of Coalville, Utah with his parents, sister, a number of family critters, and seemingly dozens of cousins. His graduating class was only 45 so being involved was the norm. Matt played football, basketball, baseball, a little track, and was Sterling Scholar in music as a trumpet player.
He served a full time, two-year mission for his church in Arizona and later received a finance degree from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. After marrying the girl of his dreams, he and Emily moved to sunny California where they are currently raising four wonderful children in Aliso Viejo. His hobbies include drinking freshly squeezed vegetable juice, singing in the church choir (bass in the morning—tenor at night), working on his six pack (still hidden), enjoying weekly dates with his wife, and wrestling with the kids on the floor.
Jesse McRae has been an account manager and corporate pilot for PSI Network for over 3 years. As a child and teenager, Jesse grew up in Southern California racing sailboats and riding motocross. Upon graduating High School, Jesse enrolled in one of the world’s premier aviation schools and graduated at the top of his class. Following his education, Jesse became an accomplished professional pilot flying numerous jobs for contract, charter, and flight instruction operations as well as building and maintaining his personal aircraft.
While aviation will always be Jesse’s passion in life, the time away from his wife and son inspired him to pursue a career that kept him closer to home. His relationship with PSI originated through his aviation and personal relationship with PSI’s President and owner, Steve Olsen, an accomplished pilot in his own regard. He continues to fly professionally for select clientele and, in his spare time, outside of his wife and son, Jesse has numerous passions and hobbies. He is an accomplished fabricator and engineer specializing in metal and carbon fiber structures for both aircraft and race cars. He designs, builds, and races off road race cars and, on it’s 40th anniversary, won the coveted Baja 1000; a non stop, 1000 mile off road race between Ensenada and Cabo San Lucas. He has built and currently maintains a Lancair IV-P that he shares an interest in with Steve Olsen and he is currently building a highly advanced aerobatic aircraft to fly in aerobatic contests.
He also continues to ride motorcycles with his close knit group of motocross friends, an activity that both his wife and employer are less than thrilled about. Jesse also has a very close relationship with his family and extended family and continues to incorporate them into his activities as much as his and their schedules allow.
Steve Olsen has been in the telecommunications industry since 1985. His experience began in Salt Lake City, UT in PBX sales and finance. By 1987 he became involved with network services in order to find savings to offset hardware capital expense. In 1988 Steve was hired by a Southern California-based PBX finance company which found him recruiting and managing sales nationwide for the next 5 1/2 years. In 1993 he founded PSI Network, Inc. and later Tech Flex Funding in 1999.
On any given week, Steve’s time is primarily spent in the field with customers. That has enabled him to stay abreast of customer needs, market conditions and supplier performance.
His no loose ends philosophy is based on never putting off fixing something until tomorrow if it can be fixed today. That philosophy has translated to his staff over the past two decades. He values business relationships with employees, suppliers, reps and customers as the company’s greatest asset.
Steve enjoys writing, playing and recording music, flying airplanes and golf. He and his wife of 40 years have three children and eight grandchildren.
